Asko washer error codes are easy to diagnose. If your Asko washing machine has an error code in the display, it will most likely require service before it will wash or spin again.
The F3 error code on Asko washer indicates an issue with the pump motor. Now this washer has a main wash motor the one that turns the drum to wash the clothes and also a small auxiliary drain motor that drains the water out of the machine. If you are getting an F3 error code, the small auxilliary drain motor is either clogged or has just failed.
On these washers when this code pops up it usually means the drain motor is just blocked. When a foreign object gets stuck in the impeller it jams the motor and the washer senses the water is not draining so it errors out.
You can normally just open the small access panel on the bottom of the washer to gain entry to clean out. Once inside a small white handle will be visible. Simply turn the handle and the clean out filter will dislodge from the washer.
Once out you can clean the trap/screen and simply reinstall. If nothing is stuck inside and the motor is getting the proper power, then the drain motor itself will need to be replaced most likely.
